In summer 2011, David Archuleta kicked off a tour to promote the re-release of his third studio album The Other Side of Down: Asia Tour Edition in Southeast Asia. The tour started on through July 16, 2011.

The concert at Ho Chi Minh city was taped and broadcast in Vietnam on YanTV on August 28, 2011 in an one-hour TV special. The TV edited version featured full performances from Vietnamese opening acts (except for Bảo Thy, Uyên Linh and Văn Mai Hương). Only four songs performed by David Archuleta during the concert were broadcast due to copyright issue.[2]
